Dental implant supported fixed prosthesis
Implant-supported fixed restorations are a treatment option for patients who have lost their teeth. These restorations are attached to surgically placed implants and are not removable. They are made of high-strength materials like zirconia.
Many years ago, when people did not have any tooth structure left, the only options were dentures. Nowadays, after only placing 6 to 8 implants, people can create a full fixed smile.
After the implants are surgically placed and healed, the dental laboratory fabricates a full-arch dental bridge made of strong, natural-looking material. The bridge is fixed to the implants, creating a full smile.
Dental implants are one of the best ways to custom-build new teeth that restore the alignment of the original smile while maintaining the same aesthetic and functional capabilities of natural teeth.
Dental implants are small metal anchors made of titanium that can fuse to the jawbone and provide a strong foundation.
At Elite Dental Group, we use top-tier dental implant brands such as Straumann Nobel Biocare, to name a couple.
We always prioritize patient comfort and safety while maintaining your smile’s integrity.

Immediate
Dental Implants
Immediate implants make it possible to do several procedures during the same visit and have proven to be one of the top innovations in dentistry.
- After extracting a tooth, the jawbone underneath starts to shrink back. Placing an implant simultaneously creates the benefit of keeping the maximum amount of jawbone and having more support for implants, which makes it possible to restore the smile in just a few hours.
- If the jaw does not have enough bone to place a long-lasting implant, there might be a need for a bone graft procedure.
We offer the placement of the bone graft during the same visit, which creates a stronger foundation for the long-term success of the implants. You can only do this treatment if there is a need for a bone graft due to bone loss.
Dental Implant Supported
Removable Dentures
Elite Dental Group offers implant-supported removable dentures that are fixed in the mouth and do not move. DISRDs are a great, affordable way to restore a patient’s smile.
The first procedure for having a fixed denture is the dental implant placement. We may need to place 2 to 4 implants in the jawbone, depending on the case.
On the same day, we provide our patients with temporary dentures. The mold is taken after a few follow-up visits, and the fixable denture is fabricated.
FAQs
Who is a Candidate for Dental Implants?
Most people between the ages of 18 and 90 qualify for implants. A small percentage of people who’ve had significant bone loss may require a bone graft before the treatment. This increases bone volume, strengthens the bone, and gives the implants a secure anchor.
Why are Dental Implants Better for Oral Health?
Missing teeth can lead to bone loss, which can change facial structure, causing an aged and sunken appearance. Implants stimulate the jaw and prevent bone loss. Furthermore, bridges use crowns placed over neighboring healthy teeth, which must be reshaped to fit. Some individuals may not even have existing teeth that are healthy enough to support bridges.
Is Implant Treatment Painful?
Dental implants are no more painful than having a cavity filled or a tooth extracted. The procedure is done in a dental office, and IV sedation is available. After the implant post is placed, a temporary crown or bridge is placed until healing is complete.
Will I Need to See an Oral Surgeon To Have Dental Implants Placed?
Elite Dental Group and our team provide computer-guided dental implant oral surgery for the best possible results for your implant dentistry experience. We can show you how the whole process works and help you feel comfortable at the same time.
What Exactly is a Dental Implant?
A titanium or ceramic screw is implanted into the jaw bone. It typically takes between three and six months for the bone to fuse with the screw. The implant post is biocompatible, so the bone perfectly integrates with the implant. This provides a stable foundation to attach a crown or bridge securely.
Are Dental Implants Expensive?
Although you may pay more initially for a dental implant, it is more cost-effective in the long run. Because of chronic bone loss, dentures often need to be replaced. Dental implants are permanent, have a 95% success rate, and can last a lifetime. The cost varies according to individual treatments; your insurance may contribute to their expense.
How Do Implants Look and Feel?
Implants give a natural and enhanced appearance to a smile. They will look identical to your natural teeth. You’ll feel less sensation due to losing the tooth root, but your new smile will be strong and durable. You will have no diet restrictions with implants.
